The Services We Offer
With years of experience in pool and hot tub maintenance and warranty-covered repairs, our team is more than qualified to complete the necessary repairs. We can inspect your spa to find the issue, order the hot tub parts from a trusted source, and then complete the repair in a quick and efficient manner.
- Installation
You can choose a pool or spa from a variety of shapes and sizes to fit your needs. Bench seating and other design elements vary by the size and model. A variety of colors and finishes are available as well. For the avant-garde customer, we offer custom tiling and accessories for your pool or spa.
While spas are basically the same as swimming pools, only smaller, they are also customizable. Spas are common additions to the backyard whether a swimming pool is present or not. The most common spa design is a square or circle but freeform spas are also available.
- Pool Openings & Closings
Opening your pool in Spring or closing it in Fall can be a burden. Let our professional service staff take on that burden for you.

- Leak Detection
Finding a leak in a swimming pool can be very difficult. Our service technicians are professionally trained and have sophisticated leak detection equipment. This aids them in finding the leak, or “needle in the haystack”.
We always make suggestions that you can try first for yourself to help keep costs down. We also offer advice on how to test to see if your potential leak is due to evaporation.
- Filter Sand Changing
The sand in sand filters should be changed every 3 to 5 years. The sand in sand filters is what filters the pool water. If the sand needs changing, your pool water may stay cloudy no matter how much you try to chemically treat the pool. Chemically cleaning the sand 2 times per season will help keep your sand operating at its optimum capacity.
- Equipment Repair/Replacement
We work on, repair, and replace all major brands of equipment and parts. Additionally, we are authorized warranty stations for Pentair, Hayward® , Goldline® , and Jacuzzi®.
Parnell Pool & Spa’s senior service technician is an APSP (Association of Pool and Spa Professionals) certified Tech 1 Service Technician. He has studied and passed a test administered by the APSP.
- Spa Diagnostics & Repair
We can diagnose and repair most major brands of spas and hot tubs. There are times that we may have trouble getting parts for non-major brands.

- Motor/Pump Replacement
Information that is necessary when scheduling a motor replacement:
- Brand of pump
- Horsepower
- Frame size
- Whether or not salt is used in the pool
On the motor, there is a plate that shows the frame size (FR) and horsepower (HP). For example, a Hayward inground pump motor should show a frame size (FR) of 56J. A Pentair inground pump motor should show a frame size (FR) of 56Y.

- Manufacturer’s Warranty Repair
Parnell Pool & Spa is an authorized warranty station for Pentair, Hayward® , Goldline® , and Jacuzzi® .
Different manufacturers require different information for warranty work to be performed. You should be able to provide a minimum of proof of purchase. A serial number may also be required.
